antonia cetin essential oilsNo matter what anyone else says, Back to School has always been one of my favorite times of the year: the expectations of new adventures, the possibiliites of new friendships and the renewal of old ones, the excitement of the crack of a brand new notebook! Am I a geek? Sure. I love Back to School and I admit it!

However, I recognise that Back to School can also present its own challenges: staying healthy around all those people in the classroom, anxiety of the unknown and concentrating when the teacher says to, just to name a few.

Whether you are sending your kids to school, home schooling, or going back to school yourelf, here are my TOP Back to School doTerra Essential Oils to help make the transition.

1.On Guard protective

When there’s any risk of cold or flu, I like to diffuse On Guard to kill those nasty germs. The On Guard hand sanitizer is also great for getting those germs off our hands and for keeping our surfaces germ-free. If my son or I do feel the start of something, we use On Guard topically on our throats and bottoms of our feet, and we will even drink a drop in water or take a gel or beadlet preventatively.

2. In Tune focus blend

At those times when we have to concentrate In Tune helps us stay calm and focused. Whether you’re the student, parent or teacher, a swipe on the back of the neck or on the wrists will help keep your mind on your task when we have school work or homework to get done. Add a drop of Rosemary to help with memory when we’re studying, too.

3. Breathe respiratory blend

When it’s back to school, it’s back to PE. A drop of Breathe on the palms rubbed together and inhaled (keep away from your eyes!) clears your airways and helps your respiratory system get ready for a good workout.

4. Whole food kids vitamins including fish oils

Without the sugar and additives in other vitamins, doterra whole food kids vitamins are supplements specifically designed to give them nutrients they need and Omega oils essential to brain development and health.

5. Cedarwood or Balance grounding blend

When we’re anxious or worried, these oils will help us find our peace and ground our thoughts. They can be applied on the wrists or on the bottoms of feet for quick absorption. If you or your child are anxious or out of sorts, Cedarwood and Balance will help you get back on track. If you have boys, they are also great woodsy scents they will appreciate.

6. Lavender or Serenity restful blend

When you need some calm and rest, or a little relief from stress of new situations, Lavender or Serenity will help you reclaim your peace. You can apply them during the day to help you get through calmly, and at night for a restful sleep.
