You want me to sell this stuff to my friends? I don’t have any friends who would be interested in this stuff! I don’t really know that many people! That’s the excuse I was telling myself. So, my team told me to make a list of 100 people I knew. As if I would know 100 people! But, let me tell you, once I went through my facebook, my contacts, my emails, my activities, and my courses, once I wrote down all those names, I realized I knew a whole heck of a lot of people! In a way, that list gave me confidence because if someone on my list said they weren’t interested in learning about a natural healthcare alternative, it wasn’t as big a deal since there were so many other people on my list. Man, it would take me a long, long time to exhaust that list.
Then I realised that the list just keeps growing because every day you’re meeting new people and making new friends and that’s more people on the list. That’s more people to tell about this product and company that would help them achieve health and wellness. There’s no way I’m going to get the message to everybody! (If you are one of those people on my list that I have not yet contacted, I apologize because your health is important to me! Give me a call!)
So what happened? I got in touch with some really great people whom I hadn’t seen or heard from in awhile and rekindled some pretty cool friendships. And, I’ve been meeting all kinds of awesome people every day. It’s almost like people are all around.
Are you an introvert like me? Maybe you don’t want to have so many people to talk to or maybe you prefer to do your business online. Do you have any facebook friends? Are there people you’d like to work with? Do you enjoy using social media? We can do that, too!
Lesson #4 : There are people everywhere!
